1. Referring to your hair as “ombre colored” is cooler than, “my roots have grown out.”
  2. The dogs can hear the clink of the cookie jar opening no matter where they are. And they come running.
  3. I can hear the clink of dinner plates as Will takes them out of the cabinet no matter where I am. And I go running.
  4. I will sacrifice Will’s safety for Binion’s (a local eatery) onion rings. (He went into a packed [WTF?] restaurant and picked them up.)
  5. I have a lot to be thankful for.
